luckily you can just buy the cheaper alloy levo 4 and then add the racks, saving you 7k each.

Yesterday I spoke with a guy who rode a couple of EDRs and would always ride xtr mech since forever but he was on a sram. He said not only the chain slap was unbearable on the new di2 xtr but he would also drop chains pretty much daily, to the extend the top of his crank which cought the chain became all scratched... The shifting was absolutely amazing but the reliability is horrible and he also noticed shimano sponsored enduro pros would run full dh chain tensioners or STFUs just to keep the chain on, which is mindboggling how...

You are correct, thanks for making mention before I could catch up in this thread. On longer climbs I would take the chain off but most times I just wouldn't care to. The bigger problem was the chain length in my largest rear cog when using the lower guide, only a problem during climbing though. The system was great while descending. But I just run the ochain now instead of the lower guide because it's manages the chain whipping and is less faff.

I dislocated more or less everything in my right wrist, 7 bones i think? And the recovery was long and lame, when the doctors get excited about your scans you know you’ve taken a wrong turn somewhere. But if i can make a recovery to the point that it doesn’t noticeably effect me in any areas of my life then im sure Loic will bounce back fine. I did lose feeling in most of my hand for years though, though i still had full control and use of that hand, strange.

Were you screaming from the rafters for the juniors to be the last one down on the hill last year or have you always been a hypocrite? I, for one, like watching bikes going down hill. I'm not particularly picky about much else.

When I did my scaphoid/navicular, you learn there are a lot of guys who just ride on busted wrist injuries that get better at first than worse, then ok, then worse, then disintegrate before they can ever get a surgery to stop it at "OK".

I dislocated the lunate bone in my left wrist 20+ years ago, It's a horrible injury that I still deal with. Hoping Bruni's surgery is succesful and he's able to come back, wrists are gnarly because of all the working pieces in it.

Soldier Hollow nearby Deer Valley is hosting the UCI XC World Cup the same weekend as the US Open/Pro Downhill finals at Deer Valley. They are about 20 min drive apart from each other. Now..if perhaps someday Deer Valley hosted an event on the newly expanded Mayflower area they would be 10 minutes apart.

At one point this was the top of the line carbon build in The Demo Center at Whistler. I rode 4 top end bikes in 3 days & they all told me...ride the Norco day 3. You'll be stoked. It was the MOST fun day I've had on a DH bike & that was like...10 years ago? Would love to play on one again. I'd immediately swap the rear for a coil & some sticky rubber. That's all. Wonder if Norco is doing full dad cam package sponsorships? 🙃

What stands out most about the new Norco Torrent DH is what it isn't . It isn't trying to be the most technically complex bike on the mountain. It isn't loaded with adjustability features.
