After living in chronic pain for over a decade and losing the ability to walk without limping...I strongly encourage DH racers to consider an alternative state of mind. Once upon a time I was in that head space and it backfired -- horribly.

Those trails used to be fun, before they got riddled with bomb holes. Take that list out of the bucket, put some good dirt in and fix some of that unnecessary roughness.
