I’m not sure why, but I have a feeling that these new brakes we're seeing from Hope, with their new bleed ports, will operate using mineral oil rather than DOT fluid. The bleed ports are different from those on current Hope models (e.g. new threads, unusual positioning, different diameters), which could suggest a complete shift in the system's design philosophy—specifically toward mineral oil.

The 8200 brakes [2-piston] are already up for sale on AliExpress. Having the reach adjust inside the lever instead of out front is interesting. I don't see a bite point adjust, but the picture isn't great. Hopefully they're reverse-compatible with current offerings.

From what I’ve been able to find out—and judging by Orbea’s Instagram post—it’s more than certain that there’s a new Rallon coming. There will be one DH version with Fox Factory suspension and a 225x75 shock, while the rest will likely be enduro-oriented, probably using a 205x65mm shock. I'm not sure whether the lower shock mount will be interchangeable or not.

this makes no sense to me. what happens during cautions and red flags in other racing sports? competitive advantages are often lost by those out front. there was significant interference on the track. she deserves a re-run if she protested (which it sounds like she did). before the "pedestrian" she could have the run of her life at the bottom and earned another spot or two at the bottom earning 5 or 10 additional points. they all add up. if this was an olympic run, would there be a re-run? 100%. UCI claims to be olympic-level racing.

they just venmo me $2.79 per deletion. it's very rare we get asked to take anything down and in 16 years of being at vital, i don't remember any leaning/pressure from brands "if you don't do X, we'll hold back from working with you." just because something was here and goes away doesn't always mean we deleted it. we delete if asked by a brand b/c someone that shouldn't have had the info/photos/videos leaked the info/photos/videos or if an NDA was clearly broken. we don't delete if a product is out in public, if someone was careless with their hiding...

... I don't think there's any photoshop, I think that bit that looks like "photoshop artifact" is the hitch for the truck. The spokes look too perfect, the background too uniform, it's just that "artifact" that I think is a clean hitch on a dirty truck
