Thanks for all the great content and solid reviews Vital! Looking forward to some fresh 27.5 bikes. Big wheels work well for lots of people but not for me. My Big wheeled bike is up for sale.

Dustin, It’s really good. I had a Fox DPX and a Fox X2 as well as a Fox 36 that came with it. The RockShox stuff is easier to set up and is plusher off the top. I have the Super Deluxe Shock set up to feel pretty similar to the 2019 X2 fully loaded with spacers. Except I can put more volume spacers in the Super Deluxe to make it even more progressive. The Lyrik is Bad ass. Super plush off the top and just the right amount of support through the stroke. The Maxel is on the right...

pure speculation on my end, but i'd imagine it's not so much bitterness as just not wanting to work for free or give anything away for free. not sure how it all works in the end though.

I used to convert all my non-tubeless rims to tubeless. My best results only used black gorilla tape (gorilla brand duct tape). That would air-seal spoke holes easily without needing to ghetto-tubeless-slice-open-inner-tube. Seriously, it's that easy.

Specialized doesn’t make a 29” DH tire. Interesting to see what looks like a DHR2 out back as well.
