Install is rather easy. Unseating the bead after it's glued itself on with CC offering no room to budge into the drop center can be a nightmare.

Chris is a good dude. I worked on their factory in Shasta Lake City before they relocated up north. Treated his people really good when he was here.

I loved her first album though I find country to be a bit reductionist. Phil Collins is more my taste. You can run mineral oil against DOT seals but not the other way around. I've never tried human blood to replace magura blood as I think it would boil too low, the smell would be heavenly though.

You used DOT fluid didn't you. Take that cover off and inspect the seal.

If you're ever in Portland and you have the chance to visit and tour Chris King HQ, I highly recommend it. A lot of thought went into making that place as responsible, sustainable, and pleasant to work at as possible. Bonus points if you can snag lunch at their incredible employee cafeteria.

@teamrobot - dialed list except for hub engagement. if you're going from a bottom-of-the-line hub to something nicer, it's noticeable, if you have to pedal for speed or momentum. i'm not saying the upgrade has to be a $500 rear hub, but the difference between a super cheap rear hub found on a $1-$2k bike and a "good" rear hub with better engagement is legit. on budget rear hubs, i've had my foot blow off pedals (flat pedals, not clips) as i upshifted while pedaling on travsery portions of trail. the slack was just too great and the violent thud...
