I honestly think that the point has come when Loic should go and race the Electronic Bike Racing category - on his own. If you can't beat your competitors without a device that's solely and exklusively available to you - what's the point in competing? If a manufacturer creates something that's open to use for multiple of their sponsored athletes to be proven on the racetrack - that's progressing the sport. Anything else is an unfair advantage - a.k.a. known as cheating. Just sayin, ....

I was born in Poland, but I grew up in California....spent 40 years there. Now I'm back in Poland...as luck would have it....in Bielsko-Biała. For the past 3 years I've been riding most of the trails that'll be used at the event. Prior to that, my resume includes mostly Skegg's Point and Braille in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a run down Mt. Lemmon outside of Tuscon, and some Tapia Canyon (Castaic, California). I'm old and mostly ride motorcycles with MTB stuff peppered in here and there. Nevertheless, I think I have some unique credibility here. So if you will endulge...

You forgot to say that the Pivot frame broke in half and that Kerr had a very bad crash because of it, I don't understand why this information was omitted. And I bet everyone is wondering if Kerr is okay but there's no news. Anyway the race was very good track really nice.

There are different types of customers there. Some need bikes shops, some do not. For me, they add near zero value to the equation. I can service the bike myself, I can send suspension for service myself (but I currently service it 100%), I can buy all parts online and have them (mostly) the next day. Bike shops are great for people who do not want to wrench on their bikes and those people are the majority, so good for them. Yeti simply gave people a choice and it's great for us all, it will make bike shops care more...

Virtually every shop I have ever been in: “We don’t have that at the moment, but we can order it for you.” I can order it too, and it’ll come straight to my house. I’m going to install it myself anyway regardless of where it was purchased. Why would I make a second trip? Complete bikes are the same. I’m going to go over your build with a fine tooth comb, so why wouldn’t I just build it myself from the get-go. I don’t understand people arguing so hard to support brick and mortar just because that is the long...
