Am I missing something or does this suspension design have some of the highest pedal kickback out there? Yet everyone seems to like how it rides. Any of the reviewers want to shed some light on this?

This does not look like a prototype anymore, far from it. The attention to detail is pretty high. I'm not sure they'd go to that level if this is just another proto aluminum mule to test before committing to a carbon mold. I could be wrong but to me it looks like it might be a early/pre production run to verify before mass production. The idea of a competitive and good looking Intense Al dh bike makes me feel all warm and nostalgically fuzzy inside.

"It's the Bike Parks (not the bikes), Stupid" First off: I'm not sure this is a real problem. Honestly, I'm not. Can manufacturers afford DH even if they're not selling a ton of downhill bikes? Maybe? What's it been... almost ten years that enduro bikes have been capable of handling most gravity and bike park terrain? And, because they are also rideable on local trails, who wouldn't want them, instead of the, "two-bike solution"? This is even more the case now that eBikes are taking over.
