The lack of Poc in the sport is a huge issue for the industry. If they aren’t riding bikes they aren’t buying bikes. Seems like a worthwhile investment for the major companies who can only help their bottom line in the future. Especially as demographics of the us are statistically changing. Trying to bring people of color into your sport isn’t social justice it is good business. Where would mlb, nfl, or nba be without people of color dominating the sports star power. probably from North/Southbridge or onboard-graphics of a mainboard. But when I see the SC-Vids about Minnaar and Doughie talking about their bike-setup this could very well be a troll attempt for the gear-queer. I mean the contact surface isn't ideal and eben with a heatpad or past this mod would most likely not cool down anything. The contact surface be smaller than that of an average chip.

It's true that lower travel Pikes need more tokens. I heard that lower travel Pikes need more Tokens. When I add 1 Token in my 160mm Pike I have to lower the air pressure to use full travel and then the fork feels too divey... need to test two but I wonder if there is a point where I can run x Tokens with lower pressure so that the fork sits high in its travel but I still use it fully. So far 0 Tokens and much air pressure felt best but then the fork is not so supple in the first third of the travel...

In germany shimano is like 1 third cheaper than sram for a comparable group. Tha's because the distributor here gets a really good deal but maybe the lbs don't like it because their margin is smaller.

That is commentary on another level. Gave me goosebumps just listening to it again. F**k you RedBull. And whoever is the 'UK’s leading TV football commentator', they are all shit. The reason Rob's commentary was (is) so good, is because it was from the heart and not manufactured/watered down/nanny-fied bollox like every other commentator out there. Rob, you are R. P. McMurphy and RedBull is Nurse Ratched - don't let them sanitise you!

The video of Danny Hart's 2011 World's run has around 3 million views on youtube. The vast majority of those 3 million people didn't watch that run because they're die hard fans or because they had any specific appreciation for the riding, they watched it because the commentary was fantastic, hilarious, and could be appreciated by both legitimate fans and casual observers. You don't see any of the more recent races with relatively bland commentary getting anywhere near as much appreciation.
