You guys just gotta sell your electric mopeds and buy the next one so you can forget about the schmuck who buys who buys it used will eventually be forced to dispose of it in the least ecologically documentable way & the polluto-ped simply vanishes & we don't speak of it again. You know...like when you throw a Ryobi dead battery in the battery recycling bin at Home Depot & that bad boy always hits the bottom unimpeded by a single contractor's battery ever.

No option for: I ride bikes for the non motorized experience. So I will keep pedaling. Why so much anger towards those of us that want to keep mountain biking, cycling?

I sporadically think about buying an e bike, then as I delve a bit deeper I start reading all the stories about motor replacements and other issues. The amount of used e bikes where the seller says it's got a brand new motor or motor and battery are really off putting, the failure rate is unacceptably high IMO. Manufacturers only offering a two year warranty on motors and batteries is also scary to me. No way I'm spending £5k+ on something that's potentially worth jack shit in 3 years.

I'm pretty paranoid about strava data since I live in southern california. My account data is locked down and 90% of my rides stay private as I don't want unsanctioned trails and/or ebike rides showing up to give land managers ammo. For my own personal usage, I like strava because I've been using it so long. One thing that is actually refreshing for me is that I've been using it so long, that I am no longer interested in chasing any sort of PR's or KOM's. I used to spend time looking at my times and leaderboards etc... and now...

I love using Strava for tracking my workouts and connecting with other athletes. The user-friendly interface and comprehensive activity analysis features are fantastic. And I like that it goes beyond tracking workouts and can be used as a social platform. However, I wish there was better customer service. I've recently addressed pinterest customer service and it works much better in comparison to one offered by Strava.

Ride like it’s 2023? I think I’d ditch the cable Tektro brakes first.

It does sound like it's just the GCN website and YouTube that are up for sale (including the mountain bike, e-bike, and triathlon channels) but there's such a deep integration of the two now that some things will inevitably be changed in a split up. I think it wouldn't be a huge surprise to find some of the content on GCN+ and their YouTube cut to some degree which would be a bit of a shame. As much as you might not want to pay for DH racing, you do get access to basically all cycling races for the year...

Yes they're a YT channel and started like that, but the road cycling coverage is massive full of really good commentators+guests with tremendous history and wins in the sport, they do this on a daily basis, broadcasts with dozens of hours of play. Plus the app has a ton of documentaries and shows exclusive to subscribers. I would say MTB...
