I know everyone puts out good content these days, but Commencal just gets it. They support people who are fast but have cool stories, and then hire people like Drew to tell those stories in a way that gets you hyped to ride bikes. The best!

4/24/2024 9:53pm Is a mtb "scrub" slower than squashing a jump? Scrubbing involves throwing your bike sideways in the air, which creates a ton more drag than keeping it straight. A single jump might not make that big of an impact, but it could add up on a longer section of track, like Fort Bill's motorway. I have a ton of anecdotal...

Sorta, but not really? She's supported by SRAM, but does whatever she wants, when she wants. Works with Lael to do a big bikepacking ride, races some enduro, does some DH, all on bikes from whatever brand she wants to try. It sounds like a really sweet gig, to be honest.

Oof… It’s starting to feel like everyone in the bike industry will be gone or at least partially owned by Giant, Merida, PON, SRAM, Shimano, or Fox in the next 5 years. - with Giant and Merida being much bigger players than the others in that list.

The only hitch receivers for the Matrix/Vibe are 1 1/4", unless you want to go the full custom route and get something welded up. I'm also curious if stiffer springs will suck when the car's unloaded, but luckily it's pretty easy to undo the spring reducers if I hate it. Leaning towards option #3

i wouldn't care if this was anyone but you. i have no advice to offer but would love to see the end result. also i'd pitch in a few pesos for you to upgrade to a proper 2" receiver hitch.
