The coverage is only part of the issues with UCI/WBD Enduro is being sidelined, geographic spread of events is shocking, rider numbers are being cut, privateers being priced out of racing, etc.. I'm in Scotland and ESO bought out our national series then canned it without explanation, and have ignored any questions about it. The Tweed Valley EWS round had a five year contract in place with landowners and they canned that after two years. They also screwed local riders by halting a major trail development to run the XC World Champs on the site, then bulldozed what they'd built...

Reasons why Red Bull was better: 1) It was free and easy to view. 2) Because it was free more people watched it. 3) We saw more racing. Whilst the addition of Junior Finals coverage is a positive, the reduction to a 10 woman/30 man finals means we are now paying less race runs than ever before. 4) Red Bull's graphics were better. The virtual straight graphic was useful. The wiggly line graphic is pointless. 5) Some of the WBD camera position/type choices are terrible. The overhead drone shots at Ft William were like watching Google Maps. 6) Current coverage...

telluride was super short without any significant steep sections IIRC. photo of colin bailey at telluride below. i shot in 2002 and remember getting this slide back (film rules...look at the sky), and thinking maybe i could do more of this MTB photo stuff. later that day a rider crashed, her bike flew up and hit me and broke the flash off my camera LOL. i think telluride '02 was in clappin yo' dome w/ snoopdogg and pharell song to the section. had that log whoop section. most DH racers did 4x too. crazy that was 22 years ago. sorry...

2:30 is just too short!

With two venues pulling out this year don’t think anyone should be complaining much. certainly no msa or vds but I think it will be a pretty entertaining watch with the right camera angles and the bike park sections are somewhat unique. Like this track a lot more than the new Andorra course (miss the old one).

For the past 3 years I've been riding most of the trails that'll be used at the event. Prior to that, my resume includes mostly Skegg's Point and Braille in the Santa Cruz Mountains, a run down Mt. Lemmon outside of Tuscon, and some Tapia Canyon (Castaic, California). I'm old and mostly ride motorcycles with MTB stuff peppered in here and there. In pedal sports where the advantages of fitness & talent are microscopic, I still can't see the motor being an even leveling of the playing field for the elite. Richie is punished in battery-enduro because he has the same "output": motor as his competitor. A woman who is slender can be punished equally. The mopeds have a sweet spot for rider (they should be called jockeys) weight to power ratio. Above or below that threshhold, your competitors quite literally have an easier race. It is quite literally the most unequal sport I can think of.
