I concur that it likely has to stay in Utah. And I also agree if you look more broadly there is an ecological impact to consider. If someone in the know balances the equations on both those points and determines old sites are the only viable option, then maybe at some point they also need to consider that Rampage has run its course. I am the biggest Rampage fan. I attended my first one in person in 2003 and even helped dig Shandro’s second place line a little. I’ve been to multiple others since. I generally even think the judging has been correct every single year. I also don’t care that the lines are highly manicured now or that tricks (if done up high and off a substantial feature) score really well.
