Been rocking this helmet for a year now. Coming from the POC Tectal MIPS that was my favorite helmet ever, the Fox Speedframe Pro takes the cake. The fit is perfect, visibility is perfect, ventilation is fantastic. Looking to upgrade to the new 2026 model with the sunglass holders (finally!). The older POC Tectal had the rear mounted elastic rubber sunglass mount that I adored.

7 Month update: I keep grabbing these instead of my 2FO DH. Whaaaaat?!?! They are fantastic all mountain/trail shoes. They do lack some ankle support compared to the 2FO, and they definitely are not as cushioned/damped, and a bit more flexy than the 2FO. BUT, they fit my feet perfectly and are an absolute cinch to throw on and take off. And trail side tension adjustment is a breeze! I do NOT miss fiddling with cumbersome laces. If Five Ten could add some cushion and a higher ankle on these, they would be absolutely the perfect shoe.

This makes my Claymore look like shit. I'll be really sad if Deviate doesn't come back. I've never spoken with a company that was 1. so cool with custom paint and 2. happy to sell people unpainted frames. Wish I had been more patient and taken them up on the offer, I have a lot of sanding yet ahead of me.

Glad to see these in the spotlight! I've been using my Advocates since Spring and love them. I agree with a lot of the things said though I haven't found the large clamps to be a problem and this was actually the easiest brake set I've ever bled. Got it perfect on the first try. Though the only brakes I usually have issues with are Hope or Magura. SRAM and Shimano have been pretty easy as well.. I had the same thought as well. Also the bike is pretty far north from Santa Cruz to take a proto out. I dont know. Or, its a Yeti?

So how do you think the GR and TR compare to the Direttissima and Maxima? I've had both the T4E4 and T4V4 and much happier on the Trickstuff brakes, mineral oil is cleaner to deal with, bleed on Trickstuff is easier than Hope ever was. The one thing I definitely did not like on the V4's was the dead stroke. Sounds like they smoothed that out on GR and TR?
