Sorry to bring this back up but to me this looks much more like the prototype Live Valve shocks we've been seeing from Fox for the last yeah and a half. Obviously Formula would make sense to match the fork but the location (and color) of the rebound and compression knobs scream Fox to me (looks like a DPX2 successor but I have no idea how they'd work that in their lineup, maybe between the Float non-DPS and Float X). Keep in mind a manufacturer can’t really void a warranty. They can disclaim damage due to particular things. A warranty covers a lot of stuff. If your BB starts falling out that’s not related to fork and should still be covered. But if anything starts happening to the head tube you may be out of luck. Personally I’m a fan of dual crowns because it’s really the best solution to CSU creak. Have run them on bikes that weren’t really supposed to have one and would do it again. Especially if there was a slightly lighter option. Under normal circumstances...

They are a corporate shill. If you look at their post history and the timing of their responses (immediately following wb/d criticism) it does seem like posting here is their job, maybe as a part of a wb/d PR strategy. They've given this thread a lot of traction, and that's nice for Vital, but it's unlikely they're fooling/convincing anyone. I stopped reading their posts a long time ago.
