Your question about trail damage was always a concern I had with the added traffic of eBikes and the fact that one person alone can now hit the same trail 4x what they could on a regular bike in a single day. But what I have seen (as recently as this past weekend) is the outpouring of support from the eMTB community to pitch in and do trail work.
