I’m currently riding a steel front end with aluminum rear off a Trek session. Great combination! Similar to that Vampire, different rear axle location/layout. Fun bike!

Not too long ago, racers fought to change the rule to get out of skin suits. And here we are now slowly going back to them. The designer can say "it's not a skin suit..." till their blue in the face. But I'm not blind either. I'm personally not a fan of the design. But if a rider/racer wants to wear this. They should have the right too. But it's also sad that most DH riding kits are following this trend. Sorry Fox, I'm going to vote with my wallet and pass on this. Thank God Troy Lee Designs DH...

I ran these before moving to Intends. I've also tried a bunch of other brakes. Most of the mtbr discussion is people dogpiling SRAM due to that youtube review by Dale Stone. I tried to offer some useful commentary there but eventually got tired of arguing with people who would never try them and just wanted to shit on SRAM (which I can relate to given my CS experiences with them). I'm not really sure where Enduro MTB got the power numbers from, I can say in terms of feel at least, the Mavens seem to have more power earlier...

4/10/2024 9:47am DVO have launched a new Diamond, which is basically just an updated 36mm Onyx (slightly updated CSU but with the same lowers, and supposedly more accurately machined bushings and dropouts for less binding, etc) with the newer D1 damper and SL air spring. Travel is 140mm-160mm and I'd assume that it is still adjustable with spacers similarly to the previous...
