9/5/2014 2:27am You're probably right, but there are at least a half-dozen other riders more than capable. Bruni, Blenkinsop, Mac Donald, Simmonds and Mulally to name several. For the record, I'm predicting Gee will NOT hit the tree this year.

Fans of other sports wish they had media boys like you guys. Also, thanks to Spomer and the VitalMTB crew for throwing it up here for all of us, free of charge! What a track to finish it all off, and WHAT A RACE on that track... Wow. Roll on, Hafjell!

who said its was an excuse? the guys on the video are the exception, 'cause that was pretty easy, and i asure you it could be even easier with a high travel full suspension bike -that's what most guys here rides(including me)-, you're putting in the same bag to every xc racer, who are better going uphill than downhill. cheers.

Agree Sam Hill can win here regardless of the clip in jocks, depends on the changes they have made to the course as well, more pedally or more technical, hopefully the latter, I don't mind the pedalling aspect of MtB, bit if I want to watch road racing I will watch the TDF, we need tough brutal and technical, no moar fricken pedally bike parks.

Some of these little inside kids even get lucky enough to ride one, while others watch in amazement, taking some of what they see into their riding approach - at the very least letting out the occasional 'braaap' while ripping a fun trail.
