1/20/2022 2:57pm According to NHS data, in 2020 and into 2021 the average age of death with no other underlying condition was older than the the average life span, about 82 years old for men. So no, the literature is not clear at all in regards to supporting your point. NHS data is one of the best data sets we have available. Stop spreading lies. Why is there such support for fearmongering these days?

7/12/2017 2:03am Go back a few years and you'll find reliability stories about pretty much every brand out there. Big Brand X had a snapped chainstay epidemic, Big Brand Y cracks in the seat tube junction, Big Brand Z had to pretty much recall their DH bikes...and the list goes on. Brands learn, improve, and move on. We've had a long term Meta AM V4 that remained solid for 2 years. We replaced a few bearings, for the rest it was smooth sailing.

4/28/2017 9:28am Why wouldn't he time it back to back with 27.5, if I had a choice, I'd make sure I was on the right one. Or is this all just marketing and hype? Looking forward to the race.

2/22/2017 3:08pm Vital is killing it. Comparing this article to counterparts on other websites, this is just so much better. Loving the multimedia aspect. Seeing the trails discussed in detail in the review is sick.

RobJC Added a reply to DISCUSS - 29ers in WC downhill?
1/16/2017 12:58pm Surely when they developed those 29er DH bikes in the past, they tested them against the equivalent 26/27 model. So, for them not to continue the development/use of that 'testbed' Intense 951 29er for example, over the 26/27, implies to me, 29ers are lacking when it comes to DH racing. Plus, to me at least, 29 still looks cumbersome. They...

11/17/2016 5:22am The scoring weights are always subject to much debate. Keep in mind that as you approach 40-50% for any one aspect, it becomes very hard for the remainder to make their voice heard, so to speak. But that's also why the table can be sorted by any of the scores, so you can see at a glance which pedals did best in regards to the characteristics most important to you.

11/16/2016 3:29pm Fantastic test vital, but do think the scoring should be weighted more percent to 'grip', which is after all partial consequence of 'concavity' and 'pin to axle'. A massive tyre shootout next please, with a similar weighted score system would make good reading. Also I'd describe the majority of these pedals as expensive; cost or value for money, along with reliability/ease of service, should be part of the weighted score. Maybe it's just me, but I seem to regularly have rock strikes, and always the thought of bashing $140USD Vaults would deter me from purchase.
