10/30/2025 11:52pm Don't see your team rumor in that rant. But anyways slight counterpoint. some of Jackson's MSA run is here in the highlights. https://youtu.be/7fIPsHa7fig?t=654 The first section drone follow cam was really good I thought, especially considering we saw next to nothing of this section in the RB Tv days. (we missed 2 mins of Finn's iconic 2022 win on RB TV). The shots of Jackson under Stevie's drop are good. There was no camera it seemed for the rear view entry to the rocks, so they cut to a high drone. then the KEY part of the rock garden is...

10/22/2025 1:37am Great to hear! The new back end is actually being tested this week by new team riders in a secret location...This picture was taken last week at the Belgian Cycling Factory, this is Dale McMullen (Nukeproof Lead Engineer) and Steve Jamison (Nukeproof Product Manager) discussing the new back end with a new rider (you can just see his foot)!

10/22/2025 1:35am Hi all, I'm the 'Gosling' being referenced in the Bikeradar article. I had meetings in Les gets with five teams, YT being one and I'll start by saying that Gunnar Franke (Team Manager) is one of the best guys in the pits running a great team with awesome riders and staff. However we (Nukeproof) don't have the budget to go from 'no team' to one of the best, and highest budget teams in the pits when today we are not even selling any bikes. I also feel that we are not the type of brand that wants or needs one...

10/19/2025 4:25am I disagree. I don't think after months and months of testing we would have uncovered more about the bikes that would offset the extra time/cost we'd have put in. To be clear, this was not a scientific test. Also, I'm not sure what kinda budget you think we got over here but it does not include months of testing in a bike park. The goal was to put down a timed run on a familiar track after we had each bike setup and feeling comfortable to see how times compared against how we felt on the bikes. And to help...

9/27/2025 12:44pm Aletha Ostgaard wins US Open by 2.79 seconds over Camille Balanche to take the $15,000 first place cash. Aletha also wins the Hole Shot Award of $500 by having the fastest first sector time. What a weekend for her! (She might also have won the season overall for the Monster Energy Pro Series. Not sure about that. She came into the race in 2nd in the standings and series leader Kailey Skelton had difficulties in the 3rd sector, ultimately finishing 22nd. That might have been enough to give Aletha the series points lead.) 3rd through 5th were: Maylei Leaneagh, Mille...

9/23/2025 6:24pm Dak to Gwin Racing. Aaron has made no secret he wanted Dakotah a couple years ago when he started up, and they ride a lot together so maybe now’s both their chances.

9/23/2025 6:21pm New rankings are out and Goodman has dropped to 18th. They’ll probably stay in that range after losing Pontvianne for the rest of the season. Rogue stayed at 15th after not scoring points in the last round. I could see Giant catching them as Rogue lost Simon Chapelet for the year and Daprela has a shoulder injury of some sort, didn’t start the worlds final or at Lenzerheide Scott could sneak into the top 15 depending on the YT situation. Outside chance FW gets in but tough with Asa only getting junior points. If he wins out that’s only 120...

9/9/2025 12:58am There is a growing scene here. While things were regressing about 12-15 years ago, the last 7+ have seen major growth. We went from zero bike parks to five (two government-funded), loads of trail centers, a few "official," but most not so official, and government-funded pump tracks. The number of riders has been increasing, yet the mountain bike race scene has been dying. But that's more of an issue with event organizers seeing gran fondos as exponentially more profitable. Riders would love to have a proper race series again, rather than just a few events a year, and this is...

6/22/2025 3:43am I do feel deleting from the rumours forum undermines the point of having a rumours forum.... There is a big difference between posting and article of leaked images as a industry journalist and some random person posting on a forum.

CascadeComponents Liked a reply to forum topic Have We Been Measuring Sag Wrong? (and how to fix it...)
6/16/2025 4:05am No, we haven’t been measuring sag wrong. Any method of measuring sag that is repeatable is an acceptable way to measure sag. As it is something that must be tuned as opposed to setting to a specific percentage, being able to repeatably measure sag is the most important thing. You can do this seated and measuring at the shock just fine. If someone wants to measure it with a whole bunch of kit that’s fine, but telling everyone they are wrong and do it wrong is silly. It is definitely worth noting that on more progressive bikes you shouldn’t be...

6/8/2025 11:54am I'm at Leogang this weekend and wanted to get a sense of how widely pedal kickback devices have been adopted by World Cuppers, along with all the other wild accessories like TMD's/shakeweights, electronics, gearboxes, and more. So out of curiosity and as a service to my fellow nerds, I stood at the top of Q1 today and counted all the devices I could. Note that certain devices were almost certainly undercounted, like shakeweights, added mass, and fancy chainring devices like Ochain or Rimpact (drivetrains were facing away from me in the starting lineup). There were 20 bikes total where I...

5/9/2025 12:38pm Some neat stuff in here. I know Vital doesn't have the budget to send someone to China for an extended period of time, but would be interesting to have a series covering the China scene (riders, small builders, trails etc).

4/16/2025 12:46am As someone who frequently lurks in this thread, I would love to see more moderation of the off-topic replies. I know threads are frequently spun off this one (like tires), but some of the frequent posters in the last month have never contributed to the topic at hand, other than to share their opinions and anecdotes. LAME!

3/25/2025 12:56am If I can add my 2 cents here. I don't think Sram paid Jack, or the team, anything. That whole YT deal is that they run whatever they want because they don't take money from any sponsors. Now I think that was changing because the industry is struggling and they probably saw how much money they were losing out on. My best guess is YT asked Sram to pay to support the team and they said no, so YT doubled down on the TRP/Fox association they had already been building. Vali would be the only one I could see saying...
