A threaded BB can be installed by a monkey and not creak as long as they thread the cups in straight.

I see your Fool and raise you an F-U. You're speaking to a man who has worked in bike shops and Moto shops for decades. Press fits in bikes are nowhere near as robust as in motorcycles and looking at the creak complaint meter has clearly seen that press fit BB"s creak more than threaded. And are more easily damaged during removal and re greasing or re taping or re pipe doping or what ever other means your mechanic uses.

A BSA BB can be cross threaded by a blind monkey high on crack without any grease and still not creak, I just might be permanent. PF BB's creak when you look at them.

I'm not the best at reading. However, I am one of those fools who has worked on hundreds of creaky press fit BB's. Saying threaded BB's creak just like press fit BB's is just false.

You're right about this not being a problem exclusive to HP bikes. I have had the same experience with all of the bikes you mentioned. I have ridden or been around each of those bikes and none of them are quiet or without pivot slop after a bath in some moon dust. It's nothing against Norco either, I have owned and loved several of their bikes. This one just has too many problem areas to ignore. I have a hard time believing this thing will be quiet for very long once it's been in the wild.

I tell all my friends ebikes suck. They agree and think Im cool. I sent them this video and we all agree this does not look fun. Not fun at all. These are paid actors acting like they are having fun. A big conspiracy by mega bike corporations to sell you something new.
