So, You'll pay more money for a bike that would be cheaper if it were coming from overseas? The last time I checked, "made in America" didn't necessarily mean it was the best quality.

A few questions. 1. At 50 seconds "We had to bring in a 29er DH bike" Why? because 29ers are dominating DH? Is the demand there? 2. After long, low, slack and 29" what's next? 3. Flipchips / adjustable geo, do average riders tweak this at all?

I hope all modern mountain bikes go this way. Flips chips and adjustable geo for The rider to choose between wheel sizes and not the manufacturer.

Actually it is, since motor vehicles are not allowed on mountain bike or hiking trails. So there's that. Bicycle or motorcycle, choose one or one of each. Keep your moped shit off trails you have no right to ride. You know people are pretending to be cyclists on these and not sticking to atv trails.

realize timed training means nothing but its kinda funny a lot of the tops spots are filled with 27.5 wheels (correct me if I'm wrong lol) seems like everyone was trying to get on 29 for this race... maybe not as much of an advantage as everyone thought?

Went with the onyx for the silence. Bikes have gotten so quiet in the last couple years. Ohlins shouldn’t be an issue, as beez said, coils have shown to be reliable. I still like at least a top guide and bash. I haven’t needed the bottom for a while, but top is peace of mind

To start with, seeing a bike in person is already infinitely better than copy-pasting a press release when it comes to evaluating the design process and the finished goods. I would argue that even without riding the bike, there are meaningful things to write about after merely a physical inspection. If you then add the opportunity to have in-depth discussions not only with the chief designer but also a rider like Aaron Gwin who was essentially the driving force behind most of the changes made to this particular bike, we benefit even more (both writers and readers). I do find it kinda odd that you didn't bother to test the 27.5 version. I could see if you where short on time but you had 3 days of testing if i read that right lol
