I hope given the ending of GT's last racing team, Wyn can carry on his work with the Privateers. Also, hopefully, UCI world events will still have space in the paddocks for privateers and not price them out of competing.

I'll have to look up Dale and VanCan. About one of the only ones I follow is Remy, but I mostly just like his vids where he's out doing an adventure ride. Not necessarily huge hucks or insane slabs. I try to watch BKXC, but man, he just talks too damn much and makes way too much noise. I love seeing the trails he rides, but he just never stops yappin. Good lawd.

This. The only MTB Youtubers that I watch are Dale Stone, DangerousDave and VanCan - because they showcase cool trails, are very skilled riders and most importantly: they barely talk. Unlike so many of these social media influencer clowns, they aren’t trying to be a persona on camera in the most ridiculous way possible. All those insufferable "social media clown" influencer types of this world can honestly GTFO.

You can press the three dots on the video and say "do not recommend this channel" As someone who likes a very narrow selection of MTB YouTubers, I've had to tell YouTube many times that I don't want other channels

Haha, I had to do that one day last year. My contacts dried up and came off one of my eyeballs. The only other thing I had was my prescription glasses in my car, which are transition lenses. hahaha

I like it. I still don't quite understand the hate for e-bikes. I mean, I understand the argument against them and I'm willing to concede that they are technically "motorized cycles," but to compare any e-bike to a true motorcycle is a big stretch, at least in terms of power and destruction.

I don’t see the outrage to countless other vids with awesome riding. Seems only because there’s an ebike involved. Why would any of the “asshats” you have to deal with use Kamloops riding as their reasoning for banning bikes. You like e bikes or you don’t . To each his own. You referred to his riding so I stand by my comments. I’m sure Kamloops cycling clubs are in favor of having a great representative in Aggy

That’s nonsense. Everyone of those trails are in most of his vids and ridden the same way on every one of his other bikes. that off trail is the pit where freeriding began 20 odd years ago. It’s a gravel pit and has been ridden and filmed constantly and it looks the same. Get a grip
