I was there! GM's rock jump was legendary. That track was awesome. You can still see remnants, like under that lift (which is now Gondi 1), unfortunately that's a new hiking only trail. Bummer. It's a little foggy, I remember trying to flirt with Marla Streb at a bar/club late that night. I am not a good flirter. Ask my wife. Ha! Also, don't tell my wife :D

Wow, press release photos are so weird! Why is that woman squatting by a weed growing out of cracked pavement, wearing a helmet, holding sunnies, and drinking a beer? Energy drink? Hard seltzer? Maybe it's because I just helped potty-train a 2 year old, but I can only think that she's trying to pee...

Lol pretty much everyone last raced in 2019… He is the Shimano tech guy for the PNW. Nicknamed the Sloth. Races locally and is obviously stupidly fast. Would have done better if he hadn’t dropped a chain on stage 4. Especially after he hit an inside line on the off camber that no one else could get and hit it FAST. Legit awesome guy and obviously fast…

It seems to me that what makes this a DQ is that he clearly rides over the pole outside of the point where it leaves the ground. There have been plenty of races where poles are leaned over on the inside of a turn and riders clearly jump over them with no complaints from anyone. But with tires on the ground riding over it seals the deal.

Definitely a DQ if the UCI want to be consistent with their rulings, Bernard tried to argue this as he was DQ'd years ago for something similar, but the UCI Comm argues it wasn't intentional. Bernard gives his thoughts in my WynTV up later tonight.

do you guys not see his tires to the left side of the pole in that screen grab? riders can smash through the pole with body and bars all they want, but tires can't break around the point of where the pole is in the ground. angel's do. if that pole was shin-high there wouldn't be a debate, would there? if this was between poles and he brought tires back inside, no issue either, but he's outside the pole, on the pole. the other rule in play here is the protest time period, which is now over apparently. so that...

First thing I noticed was how light they felt. Super comfortable and the grip is riduculous. I have wide feet so perhaps the reason why I havent noticed the squirm. Love mine...have the clipless version also and enjoy them just as much
