9/27/2024 6:53pm Speaking of... Are they doing some kinda AirDH one off event or just classing Kaos differently within the same race? Also, JACKSON? Bummed he was not healthy enough for worlds. But wondering if he's testing the waters to sus out an MSA return to defend his 'title'. What a cool event this is. Wish I was there.

9/4/2024 7:32pm Man, don't know about you but I used to only get faster as a season went on if I got to line up and race consistently. I can't imagine showing up to Loudenville or Mte Saint Anne & just go World Cup speed, even if I had all the talent & experience in the world. I want to race a lot before I feel like I can piece together a heater I'm happy with. Now...Crankworx...I'd have zero problems ditching a first race back to go pul laps on laps in the park & Dark Crystal.

8/27/2024 11:39am Mine lasted me a total of 3 weeks riding before it cracked during a not so big crash with me getting concussed and spending a night in hospital. Replaced it with a different helmet. Was a shame thoug because it's the most comfortable helmet I ever had on my head.

8/26/2024 8:41pm I bought an Aircraft 2 a few months ago when they were 50% off and I really like it. It feels like a good balance of weight/ventilation. I previously rode in a Smith Mainline helmet and while it was light, it didn't feel like it had the same ammount of protection. The Aircraft feels more like a solid DH lid and it happens to fit me well.

8/1/2024 6:55pm I always give a bit more consideration to products I've had good luck with, in the past. That's currently Transition, Specialized, Hayes & OneUp. That said, I'm always looking for the next greatest thing.

8/1/2024 6:54pm Owning my own business made me accutely aware of shifting my loyalties away from corporations whenever possible. My brand loyalty used to lie firmly w/ Turner Bikes b/c no one has ever treated customers better than DT. Have ALWAYS supported Hayes when possible. They went out of their way for decades to support me & us. Specialized, even though former friends, shops, even employees/acquantances were part of the brand always leaves me feeling "empty". Never had an emotional connection to the company or the brand. Oddly enough, I ride a 2022 Kona Process 153 27.5 full time. I'm short &...

8/1/2024 6:50pm Being helped and treated right thru warranties is the way to earn my loyalty. The worst feeling in MTB is when your shit breaks. It makes it much more bearable when you know you can go home, send an email to get yourself sorted.

7/9/2024 9:19am I am so surprised we dont see these being used by all WC riders, with the way Dak was FAFin about with his tearoffs. I didn't know a company even made one so I was thinking I should make one with a little bluetooth module and little motor.

7/9/2024 9:19am So...this is more general than Les Gets, but anyone ever try the Risk Racing remote control Roll Offs. In moto, you can pull a tear off or tug a roll off over jumps & on straightaways. But in DH, you're never in the air that long. Would be far better for a DH racer to push a button than risk a hand off. https://riskracing.com/products/the-ripper-motocross-goggle-roll-off-sy…
