Great riding and soundtrack choices. And that picnic table manual! Shaums would be proud. Well done Sir!

As a 16 year old, I purchased the Manitou 2 fork in 1994. This paint scheme will bring me nightmares of elastomers, tonight.

Riding my bike(s). That sounds facetious but it's really the best way I can explain it. Most days, I'll just look at the bike(s) standing there, and feel this pull to go out and ride one of them. After all these years, that's pretty cool. Also, it's clearly an addiction haha. (many of the other answers in the poll apply as well!)

one thing I learned from the whole covid lockdown thing in Australia is my local area has so many hidden gems, I've been loving exploring these places on my e-mtb lately. Bit of orienteering, exploring and been outside. Riding for speed is less of a priority as I get older.

I haven't read all the comments, but I'm gonna throw my experience out here: I'm 1.91 m/6.3” tall and have been riding undersized bikes pretty much all my life, until more recently. I would describe my riding style as ”playful, but nothing crazy”, as in I like to manual a lot and bunnyhop as much as I can, but I...

I love going to races and riding with my buddies, but in the last year I found great joy in exploring the woods on the e-bike by myself. I ride it in places where I wouldn't go on my regular bike, because I don't want to gamble my energy on something not worthy of being ridden, if that makes any...

I've ridden Fox 36's, 38's and now I'm on a Zeb. I'm around 150 pounds so I'm probably relatively similar in size to you. I tend to think the newer 38mm forks are really good, regardless of what brand. I think I tend to ride relatively centered on the bike, maybe a little forward and the burlier forks seem to respond better. I don't think you would gain much by going to a Fox 36. Fox 36 is an amazing fork, but if you're riding an enduro bike with a decent amount of rear travel, I think the 38 is...

I really don't think a 6.3mm decrease in seal circumference is going to be a game changer for you, or even noticeable, but you're right that the 36 is lighter. I think there are riders for whom the increased flex of a smaller fork can be good. Probably riders under 150 pounds/68 kg. I'm not one of them, and I'm so glad the bigger forks are available. It was an immediately noticeable effect for me and an instant upgrade as a big tall guy with heavy tires and big brake rotors. If you're a lighter rider and bike weight is...

I second that, he seemed way more relaxed and open, likely due to where it sounds like he's at in life. Really enjoyed it.

ride companion's fantasy leage is live https://www.theracecompanion.com/ - they're covering crankworx events which is rad and WCs when they start. like we teased in our In/Out article on Jan 1, we'll have our MTB fantasy rolling for WC DH racing starting w/ fort bill (works just like Vital MX fantasy which has been running for SX season this year). have also heard PB fantasy is coming back, but no confirmation aside from one source. either way, from basically none-fantasy to all fantasy in 2024 LOL.
