Sweet. I keep thinking a DH frame with an uninterrupted seat tube would make a good Enduro project.

That's why they show open vs closed of each bike which gives relative efficiency for each system... duh. I actually prefer this now over the "PB Method"

Kind of seems crazy that with a ~340 gram weight difference and true XC tread vs downhill/enduro tread, the Alchemy only goes ~4.5% slower. It depends on what you're going for, but I would rather push a few extra watts or arrive 2.5 minutes late on an hour long climb than have to descend with a pair of Rekon Race tires! That's what I want out of my bike though, currently running Dissector in front and Rekon in rear to get a bit of speed on our mellower terrain while still having some front end grip when it gets fast...

About the fact to match stem length with fork offset I say this is total BS as you don't talk about stem angle, back sweep, bar width and fork angle and so on. 45 could be perfect with a setup and awful with an other, no way to say "match stem with offset is perfect".

It should be a warranty replacement for all the poor sods with the current one!

I know aesthetics are subjective, but that Trek just isn't doing it for me. It looks like a lovechild between a GT and a Niner. Considering most of their bikes over the last few years have been fairly simplistic with clean straight lines it's taking my brain a minute to adjust to this one. I know the Trek engineers are much smarter than me and there is a thought-out reason for every aspect of the bike. Maybe it will grow on me...

Maybe they can come up with a trade and Rock Shox will allow Fox to add sag gradients to their suspension.

To those who don’t have the capacity to understand sarcasm: this appears to be the new sensor mentioned in previous pages. New frame style in line with the force but no idler

Set screws, really? People have that many issues with brake bolts backing out? Snug it up and torque mark it.
