Their enduro team was done last year but they graciously kept me on board for this year with my contract having another year on it. Sounds obvious of course, but the bike industry isn't always so giving. The DH team took me in and I had a blast all year long, which was the main reason for doing DH at the end of the year. I just wanted to hang out with the team some more, and who wouldn't take the chance to race World Cup DH while they can. As for next year, stay tuned.

Wherever the relationship is now (seems healthy enough) its undeniable it wasnt at least a little bit dodgy. I think it being called out somewhat isn't necessarily a bad thing so that sort of shit doesn't become normalised.

I've done the same (Dead Dog/Psychosis course) with my Lewis brakes and didn't have any issues at all. I just like shiny new things (literally and figuratively). Hope comes in silver/polished and just happen to be ridiculously powerful too. Lol

I can't actually describe it well right now because I've caught a cold and my brain is in "suffer through work mode" but... ...I think you could call this technology a "Tuned Mass Stamper." Blah, blah, blah, hahaha. But also...kind of? My brain is telling me it smooths the motion of the chain in a similar way to how a TMD can smooth the chaos of a fork (or other part). It doesn't stop it but the tuned portion allows the weight and the attachment to the bike to damp the chain's motion. I really posted just to say "Tuned...

So Lewis basically Tu4'd a B29 from a TS brake system to their "own" with a few changes.

I do this but probably don't degas as much as some. Took the plunge on Mavens and no issues other than it's really irritating to get the pistons balanced and the caliper perfectly lined up because of the very limited visibility and access to the pistons/pads from the top. But holy sh!t the power. Worth it on a big bike. On pouring the mineral oil into a dish, you have to just laugh at the fact that SRAM sells the bleed kit with a bottle of mineral oil, but the top of the bottle is to narrow for the bleeding...
