I’ve got the Stump evo with CC link float x and push. With the float X I had to go from stock .2 spacer to a .8 and add 15 psi to get it behave correctly, say 30%, pop, no bottom clang, support, but small bump. Now the float x is dialed. I’ve had the 11/6 on 7 bikes in 3 years including the stumpy evo and I’ve ALWAYS had to get a stiffer spring after they send it back to me. I hate the feeling of a preloaded softer spring. You can make coil feel pretty close to air...

If there is one constant with YT, it's they consistently bail on successful racers. I think it boils down to the fact that their business model is to cut every single corner when they can when it comes to people & to spend money in big chunks when a windfall happens. Now that we're several years into the YT experiment, it feels like we're seeing a trend that they really are just winging it as they go.

Yup, we acknowledged and applauded Devinci for putting proper tires on the Spartan HP. It didn't keep us from smoking the rear rim before the test started though... Much of the Spartan HP's weight is in the frame, which we are pretty sure will outlive us all.

36lbs is VERY normal for a properly equipped enduro bike. The lighter ones have parts that wont hold up (especially tires) and are expensive builds (most riders can't all afford high end cassettes and wheels that save weight). For most people, this is the actual weight of an enduro bike.

Specialized also made public that Kate Courtney would’ve refused any offers anyways after the now replaced team manager had fired her mechanic brad. Not that anyone would have to be kind of stupid not to join the Scott Xc program if it was an option.
