in his interview with Downtime, Neko indicated he'd likely have a small run built once he gets the design finalized and refined to where he wants it. he also mentioned that he has a trademark filing submitted for a name, but doesn't want to say anything at least until its approved.

What's Jamie up to these days? Last time I ran I to him was years ago at Blue mountain and he seemed more excited to go hiking on a section of the AT after the race.

That's James Ford- a special kind of Mutant. Stock R9 there- the year after FTW built him a custom with a 63 degree head angle!

Not sure what the heckin' heck you're talking about disabilitys but ok. I can't speak to the spooky era stuff as that was before my time in the dh scene, but I came into everything during the R9 era when Frank was building for sinister. I don't recall any sort of widespread issue (or any real issues at all). They were very popular because they were good quality frames that were durable, fast, and rode well. I had many friends on R9s, and even the FB10 and they always raved about them. Plus at the time Frank was pretty frequently...

Posted this in the rumors thread also: This neko move is epic, it is real powerfull to be the first follower, props to Isak to pioneer.. It would be cool if this could spark more moves like this! It would be great to see more connection with frame builders and what people can do, not only big business

There's a lot of history you skipped over there. He also welded for sinister during the R9 era. Then the fb10/f bomb once he struck out on his own. Certainly not the lightest frames, but I wouldn't question the durability.

Wow. Going through the east coast bike possibilities in my head for Neko, FTW came up as a “man, that would rule but obviously would never happen.” This is seriously awesome. Best of luck Neko and Frank.

Reminded of when I started racing... Neko would show up to races with his dad and Logan with their trailer. Lots of people on R9s, and Frank showing up in his van. Good times for sure. Excited to see where this goes.
