Pretty massive undertaking by Phil Seton, hope some funding and another bike brand comes their way to let them continue racing beyond the first two rounds of the year.

Not really bike tech related, but does anyone know what's going on with Alpinestars riders using the MX helmet (Dak, Dunne..) ? Ethan Craik was using it last year as well. I don't think it is a new DH helmet because it looks exactly like the sm10. Craik is also back to a standard Bluegrass DH helmet now

We gotta stop bringing up f1 all the time. Those guys have ruined their own sport with nerdy data farming and it is boring as fuck to watch. Keep DH DH.

Whilst yes he is riding a Nukeproof and registered on an old Nukeproof team, Nukeproof, along with CRC/Wiggle are in adminstration. There is little to no chance the administrators will fund a race team when they are trying to sell a business. Hence there has been a max exodus of people from riding for Nuke/Vitus and no one signing for them since. I see it as his new team gave him one of their old frames whilst they sort their new frame sponsor out. He's on fox suspension - Nuke/Conti last year were SRAM. So no, i dont think it...

So then call it a Medium? As for Superboost, it's not the standard itself, it's that it's a different "standard". We have multiple MTBs in our household and they're all Boost which makes it easy to swap wheels for different uses and/or repairs. If we add a Superboost bike to the mix that no longer works and the performance boost (see what I did there?) at least for me, is negligible.

The sizing is just different, the small is what would normally be classed as a medium and then it goes from there, the last iteration of the chilcotin was a 464mm reach on the medium and no small option available. a bit off topic but why does everyone hate on superboost? most hubs nowadays can go 148 and 157 just...

Really wish we could go to permanent # plates in DH. Let's you put a big # on your jersey & gets WAY easier for us to ID riders coming by when # plate, sleeves & back all have your consistent #.

The Ghost riot was just simply one of the worst ok looking bikes that could have ever existed after 2010. They did cable tourism first but it was through the linkage which required the entire rear end to come off, you even had to take apart linkage bits to get the shock off. It also used bushings. Internal shock Scott bikes are higher on the list of acceptable end products for customers than the Riot was. And we're comparing that poor Atherton bike to a Riot.... shame on us all

Has he gotten along with any bikes since he was on Trek World Racing forever ago? At some point you have to start looking at yourself and your decision making. And to that effect, why would anyone pay him to ride their bike if he has not produced results in a few seasons at this point and has a reputation for being negative about his equipment.
