Glad someone pointed this out. The narrative that DH is getting faster and more dangerous has been the same for years and years. At the risk of being downvoted his form this season is poor with plenty of younger riders and privateers more focused, driven and having a better attitude to training, racing, etc Dean is siting way back in 83 position in the World Cup Series this year. Hasn't qualified for any of the finals, only qualified for 2 semis this season and he wasn't selected for the Australian World Champs Team due to poor form/attitude.
