Makes sense. But watching this reveiwer's video, he's putting the bike through riding that could easily justify a shock with a better damper and or coil spring. Might even buffer against harder impacts through the frame and linkage with a little better hydraulics in the shock deparment.

Three questions: Will a coil shock fit in the frame? Will PUSH Industries come out with a new linkage kit to better match a coil shock? Was not building in enough room in the frame for a FOX Float X2 intentional, or an oversight? Radically modernized Hightower. Well done.

They have one, her name is Kathy Sessler. To the best of my knowledge, she is the only woman who manages a WC DH team, meaning the Syndicate is way ahead of the curve.

4/5/2019 3:50pm My kid loves rolling down the trail in the woods with me. She despises climbing up the trail in the woods with me. If an E bike pedal assist got my kid out on her bike with me, more often, I'd be all for it. This is it. ^^^

The mechanical shifter system is not additive energy. There is energy loss, mostly through friction, in the system. The mechanical shifter rider input energy is higher than the output energy due to system friction loss. Not the case with a battery powered drive motor that is directed through a lower energy rider input tap on the E shifter control and E boosted by a higher energy output at the derailleur. RE: The Critics Does electric shifting also count as "E" mtb? Additive energy to a part of the bicycle system formerly and purely rider powered. Minimally, but literally, adding energy to a system that has historically been purely rider energy powered. Seriously. Additive energy to shifting system is OK? Just not the drive system? Brake and dropper post systems may be next. Increasing the additive energy.

A little context to this may help. The GNCC series a couple years ago began allowing ebikes to be ridden to pre-ride the race course to scope lines etc. Before that, riders were allowed to ride the course on bicycles, but being a GNCC moto/atv course, it was brutal. The ebikes allowed riders to get around easier, saving energy for the race. There are literally hundreds of ebikes at the GNCC races already. Kids, dads, pro racers, everyone has them! I assume it only made sense to create a race for them as well, mostly for fun. Just wanted to...

So K-Dub (the mountain bike kind, not #14 moto kind) texted last night "hey, i know you guys are getting blasted on e-bike stuff, but i have this video..." He included a link to his video from the first e-bike race that is AMA-sanctioned. AMA is American Motorcyclist Association. This e-bike race was held during an off-road moto/atv event in Georgia. The blasting Kyle's referring to is probably that vid w/ Cam and Tyler McCaul and their dad riding an e-bike. It has like 33 comments. What is this? Pinkbike all of a sudden? I don't really care about...
