that's going to be such a sick team to root for, I'm actually looking forward to fantasy team DH next year! However, it would have been way cooler if they were on Intense M1's, just sayin.

jsut because one rider follows another, or a team, doesnt mean they are changing teams. at the end of the day these are all riders following their buddies on social media. no different than the rest of us. we all shoudl stop worrying about who follows who when it comes to team rumors... unless there is an actual "can't wait to be on the team with you" i wouldnt look to far into a like or comment on someones post.

I agree, I think he will race for another year or two maybe longer but when he's done id bet this is his plan. Not only gives his team or other pros a place to train there but all the up and comers in the USA a place their parents can send them to for the season to train/ride boot camp style. I appreciate the hope you all have for frameworks but I think a lot of you are holding it up to be the next syndicate-esque mega team or something. This is literally a passion project that Neko started very recently. He’s accomplished a lot but let’s not start assuming every big name is headed there.

A lot of confused people posting in this thread. IFR for the last few years has been owned by Aaron and run by Todd Schumlick. Intense is no longer sponsoring the team, but the team will likely continue with a new headline sponsor. This will not be Frameworks. Neko has Martin Whiteley on board to run Frameworks team with Neko, Angel and Asa signed. Dak is on a new team, not with Aaron. This may be MS Intense, which used to be MS Mondraker.

Professional mountain bike racing exists as a marketing tool for bicycle related business and adjacents. The largest market for mountain bike riders is in North America, but yet I would venture interest in professional racing per rider is the lowest in North America. That means huge amounts of potential growth. The UCI/ESO/WB has shown little interest in developing this market so of course someone else has stepped in. It has been well established mtb racing is not a prize money venture, so riders will go where they are told to go… which will be where the most amount of eyes...
