I thought that was interesting. Dak seemed like he's mainly motivated by racing against the best competition on the biggest stage, regardless if there are easier ways...

I talked with my son (who is the racer in the family.. enduro not DH as of now) about it after I listened to it and told him there was a lot of good advice and takeaways in the episode. I'm going to have him watch/listen to this, now, since I'm pretty sure he didn't listen to the podcast.

10/26/2023 1:00pm The OHV scene is absolutely nuts out there. I literally saw a semi pull up with like 10 OHVs on it which unloaded for folks to ride. Edit: Oh! And that's what this is... they just pulled it from the podcast and made it a separate video. I will also say that the B-Practice podcast after... maybe Snowshoe?? (might have been after US Open) has a great hour or so to start it off that would be fantastic for any aspiring racer or parent of an aspiring racer to listen to from Dak and the crew.

10/26/2023 10:52am There's good money to be made in youth development and skills coaching if done properly. A lot more to be made there than $20 lift tickets (I know Windrock tickets are more than $20.. but point stands).

Buddy, lots of people on here have done lots of cool stuff, are doing lots of cool stuff, know many amazing people and are also very involved in the bike industry at many different levels or are those people that are racing. They just don't use it to try to boost and make it seems like their comments or opinions matter more than others. If you want to be taken seriously I'd chill and show some respect to all the people you name dropped enough not to use them to try and elevate yourself above someone else.

IDK, what I am picking up is he has many leather-bound books and an apartment that smells of rich mahogany. We should take him very seriously and acquiesce to him throwing things that have nothing to do with rumors into a rumors thread. That said, I also don't think one should be banned for such a mistake.
