Jacks announcement took a few of us by surprise last night. It's sad that one of the best riders in the world, arguably the most charismatic too is unable to secure a ride for next year and in some ways, coerced into retirement. Highly doubt it, with his injury history in recent years and the commitment that DH requires of you to go fast, maybe some aussie DH races.

Jess Blewitt to Gwin Racing. Confirmed. I saw them riding at the same trails over a weekend in America in early October. It looked like a big multi-team camp with some timing and suspension testing.

Jess to Mondraker would be perfect. She was the first, or one of the first, to pioneer Hardline. She could give them a male and female presence at UCI and Hardline events.

There was earlier chatter here that Deprela was the hold up for the team getting more support... Maybe we see some new team sponsors?

not to side track too much, but any decent goalie i've ever played with was a darn good regular skater. When you factor in getting to national team level, I'd easily go with the over on skating ability here. My theory is that goalies typically have to do all the skating drills with full pads when in practice so with regular pads or just playing shinny they can move. And, just like world cup DH, you don't get to that level without being real good at the basics.

Kiefer is for shure the Mens banger since this season. Entering the top10 ist serious business and for shure not a one hit wonder. Exited to follow his progress. Especially some of his lines were outstanding, which means he has the skills and confidence. The whole canyon team was pretty impressive though.

Agreed. She seems like a good rider and a good person to have at the races. It makes me curious of how she'd do if she were on a race team. I THINK last year she was just getting product support and not really on a race team of any sort. Her course previews for PB were pretty good, too!
