I know negativity is cool and all in 2024/5, but this rule change or whatever you call it, is because previously, under UCI organisation teams were not allowed to sell merch from their pits. I think it was so the local organisers could make more money selling expo space to vendors etc... So it's basically a positive change... but ya.

Yep, there are some smart moves that can be made here. It would also be beneficial for teams to ad more than just the minimum of 3 riders, as from now on the team scoring depends on the 4 highest ranking riders of each team ( category of rider doesn't matter) A team that would just bet on 1 heavy hitter could come out real bad if their star rider had some bad luck with a season-long injury. Also ladies become a lot more valuable to teams and should hopefully get rewarded for that!
