Considering the season ended nearly 3 months ago and assuming they've been working on it since the start of last season and just haven't made a working prototype, I think that's enough time to build a solid bike before hardline or at the very least before the first world cup. Canyon practically made their prototype appear overnight in our eyes when it was first seen at hardline tasmania last year.

Orbea still doesn't have a DH bike yet. They didn't even have a ridable prototype for Maes less than 8 months ago - he was on that linkage modified no battery wild. They're gonna have to come up with something good in a month or so for Hardline or in 4-ish months when the first DH WC starts.

We have entered the part of silly season where people float (and debate!) wild speculation that a 42 year old Dan Atherton returns to downhill (last result was 57th at Crankworx in 2018) on a new rubber band bike to chase a $100k podium. Perhaps we need an award for most ridiculous rumor every year. 🤣🤣🤣
