I think Dak is capable of a lot more than a 10th. Especially if he gets to stay on that Mondraker. But I agree Ronan is due a big raise and pinky is gonna be pretty cheap compared to Dak. No idea where mondraker is financially at the moment. But for any team looking for a no1 or no 2 rider who is podium proven And win capable. Dak would be on the top of plenty of people’s list. My take is he doesn’t want to take any more championship spots and took his last chance. He is kind of screwed for world cups since they have the new rules and has to get wildcards.

Honestly, nobody really has a lifetime sponsorship deal... Your sponsorship will only last as long as the company sees value in what you are doing... So, if you aren't getting coverage via race or contest results, you'd better get good at being a content creator...

Just listening to the OTB podcast . Rumor from them is that the YT truck got repossessed and the team won't have the funds to make the north American rounds . Pretty rubbish situation all round .

In this current format of team/rider eligibility, no chance of locals racing year one. IF someone is inspired and has deep enough pockets to go get some UCI points, then maybe in year three, a slim chance at year two. There's little to no support for local riders. I'd put my money on one of two local juniors if they hit the gym and move abroad to train and collect points since they've both already outgrown the local parks. i believe they will be using the 1199 track. i believe it was stated when it was announced that their intent was to ultimately use it as a WC track.
