Brandon Semenuk being originally a slopestyle athlete and taking wins, at a suppose to be freeride big mountain competition like its nothing, then there is something to be said about the judging/rules to the event. Its like it has an identity crisis. Fix your problem RedBull.

From the couch, I think Isted had a winning line. Too bad he wasn’t able to get it together. I think it’s time for new judges. They obviously have their biases and it’s clear that won’t change. It was pretty stupid when they tried to explain his score saying he made it look too easy. That was such a cop out. The exposure and creativity of Brendons run should have been weighted far more than it was.

The sport of freeri... "Stolenride" is dead. But you know what? We're not the target audience anyway... Haven't been for a couple of years as far as I can tell? The marketing money is after couch dwellers wanting spectacle. The people who created the sport or event are irrelevant, the money (and it is only the money that the corporate's are interested in) is in them not us. We are just the creative cannon fodder for their profit and loss spreadsheet. And the spectacle they want for that market is slopestyle meets "Death Race 2000".

Built up my V10 for this season with 155 Hope cranks to try them out and man i love them! Even thinking about putting some on my enduro bike (I am 6', but ride smaller bikes as well) Short cranks, high bars, mullet bike and shorter reach feels like I can just slam into every corner on any track and steer more with my feet. (sorry not tech rumors, but this thread, and Laurie and Jacksons cranks made me do it!)

Maybe you could call yourself the winner of Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, the world championsips and a bunch more races if you ran shorter cranks (Pogačar runs 165 mm cranks.)

As a short crank guy who likes affordable shimano cranks i hope the new saint has some shorter options.

The only solution is to show up to MSA with a 45 pound bag of raw, dripping king crab meat and see who will take you up on the offer.

That Norco plus 5 lbs is my eCRAB. Doesn't seem like a big penalty to get me up the hill fast and more runs down.
