Correct, XTR's overal power is the same aswell. The Enduro Test is bit weird, like testing t4's instead of A4's... If your going to do a comparison with big boy hitting brakes in the bike world where we will pick at everything, Do it properly otherwise it means almost nothing. Couple questions for you on the hopes, do you like the lever shape? I’ve heard complains about it being sharp on your finger, I just managed to get a feel on a expo bike so I couldn’t tell but immediately felt a “sharp edge” compared to my beautifully shaped Oak levers, but curious as those brakes intrigue me. t25 plastic bolt on magura it is really not that hard, you know it’s basically 0 nm so you just hold a torque wrench t25 insert between your fingers and use that, you don’t get any leverage by doing that and won’t...

Use the 3d printed caliper alinement tool. Its on the hope site, it helps loads with setup

My assumption is that they were only testing stock / OEM configurations (same reasoning as for the brake pads). I think it would be cool to see the shigura setup tested as well, given how popular that configuration is becoming with certain segments of riders.

Has anyone had the chance to run the Sinter brand’s green backed pads yet? Seems they are pushing some serious power. The best I’ve used are Galfer’s and Trickstuff. I freaking hate Trickstuff’s Magura versions tho. I too am running Shigura’s. I do wish they were easier to feather on the rear wheel tho. Maybe that’s just a me thing tho

Just came across Mads Petersen (Danish road biking pro) saying he washes his helmet in the dishwasher on the gentle program. Got really curious about how this could affect the performance and life of the plastic. He says he does a 45-50 degree C program, which I felt was quite hot?? Or maybe it's totally fine they can easily get that hot in the sun as well I guess. Could it work for knee pads as well? Yeah I wouldn't recommend that at all. Great way to ruin it. It's bad for it to be subjected to those chemicals and that heat for that period of time. Dishwashers are harsh AF. I take mine into the shower, put it on when I have shampoo in my hair, move it around a bit, get some shampoo into the straps, then rinse it all out immediately. Sounds stupid but shampoo seems to do a better job with odors than anything else, and it's the fastest/easiest way of washing it that I've found.

Looks good to me. Youll know if the rotor is too big for the adapter as you wouldnt be able to bolt the caliper down and still be able to spin the wheel. Also if too large of an adapter for your rotor, your caliper will sit sky high it and will be pretty obvious. Sometimes gets confusing if you have a 220 rotor but a 223 adapter cus it still kinda fits. But yours looks right to me. Youll know if u try peek inside at whatever angle to see how the pad and brake track on the rotor...

As the title states I'm curious as to what your ideal (or real life) two bike quiver is? I always find myself struggling to optimize my garage for the different types of riding I do. For context I ride everything from mellow 25+ mile pedal days, hardpack single track, classic New England jank, bike park, and shuttle laps. I've taken the one bike for everything approach with bikes like the Ibis Ripmo and more recently the Cannondale Jekyll. The latter made me realize that while an enduro bike has its use cases, isn't the right bike for my every day...

Ebikes erase hills, headwinds, and polls. DH bike and an eeb. Dealer’s choice on the eeb, they’re all better than every pedal bike. Easy peasy!
