GeorgeMichael Added a comment about feature Yeti Cycles Owners, Chris Conroy and Steve Hoogendoorn - The Inside Line
5/10/2019 5:02am Great podcast, most questions I came up with during the conversation were answered. I got reassured that it is a very sympathetic brand. I'll stay with them. I also liked what they said about eBikes and their retail model (through shops). I was happy with my Canyony and YT and I only felt comfortable to spend that much money on a Yeti was because it was backed up by a great local bike shop. It seems to work and they do not need to go consumer direct. I wonder how much of a blow/let down it is that their maine...

Falcon Liked a product review Excellent, almost perfect, but...

OK, so I purposefully did not re-read the official Vital review for this product so my own impressions would be untarnished. I'm a motocross rider, and I use MTB to train and have fun. With that said, I've been more and more involved in mountain biking lately and I felt the need for some better protection. Most of what I do is climb so I can find awesome downhills, and I have enough 2-wheel talent to really get moving downhill. I was feeling a little underprotected in a typical "halfie" helmet. So first, the Stage Helmet is light- really light...

1/24/2019 12:48am Its a shame the CK head set does not cover the carbon frame. Same with mine. I wished yeti would have put more paint.

11/12/2018 7:38am I am building mine up with an X2 (more pop, easier to get the sag right), but that orange spring looks sexy. Is there a recommondation from Yeti on the spring? On their website I only found recommondations for air setting. Now please show us more photos, especially the Chris King parts and the cockpit.

10/28/2018 11:47pm ok, so i'm watching rampage webcast now. brendog just went. he was the 2nd rider to drop in today and the first one to make it down without crashing (only godziek went before...gnarly). brendan had a flawless, epic run off the rock, hit the canyon gap, did a flip. the announcers mention the judge have a tough problem that they have to "leave room" for scoring. brendan gets a 67.66. i had this article about "how to win rampage or at least get better than 9th" written last week. i never published b/c it felt too whiny and dumb. i...

9/18/2018 12:53am OK, I admit I was being a d!ck, but it was funny... AND, that's a "mid range" Stock build that looks like it's right off the sales floor getting "bike of the day". People spend weeks and months building their bikes to try and get a BOTD. Even if they are new from the shop they are usually unique in some way. So calling that out is a fair critique IMO. Course it is a pretty decent build, so other than it not being unique it is somewhat deserving of a BOTD. But getting that kind of a build in...

9/10/2018 6:12am Props to Sven, he had a hard job keeping that bike standing. How do you photographers deside who has to do it? Do you draw straws? PS, I guess if I was Rachel I would have asked for new grips at least by Saturday. Those things look worn.

8/30/2018 5:49am A few comments: -"no crazy antisquat numbers" : anti-squat of 100% basically means that whatever suspension movement is introduced by the force on the pedals is counter-acted by the tension on the chain, leaving the bike essentially free of bobbing (seated climbing, all other things being equal). Above 100% means the chain tension is greater than the force causing the suspension to compress, which actually means the chain tension will extend the suspension under pedaling as opposed to let it compress. This bike has 115% of antisquat at 30% sag, so although it is not "crazy", it is still a...
