People think about changing from the SB 5.5 to the 150. But isn't it almost a different bike category? I bought the SB5.5 for "around the house" with flatter trails and lots of pedalling. As opposed to other Enduro Bikes, such as my 27.5 Capra, the SB5.5 was more of a trail bike (pedalling efficiency) with a high speed limit. The 150 seems to be a full on race enduro and thus not exactly in the same category. What do you think?

Thank you for the good review Brandon. You say that this bike is asking to put your weight forward (which for not so good riders like me takes courage). I was suprised by the super long reach. Does that make it even more difficult to put your weight forward, or does thsi make it easier? What do you think about the comparitively short chain stay combined with that long reach?

Noice! The Onxy Hubs are crazy. How do you like the pedals? I'm still on Race Face Atlas, those things are sharp as knifes and I scratch my legs almost on every ride by just beeing around my bikes :-(

Thank you. Does the grip move in your hand (and thus you feel less direct control of the bike) or you do not feel a difference to a regular grip while steering?

This video gives a better view of the bikes than when they blast by at full speed. And yes, good to see they are human, sometimes.

Tire joice is so personal. I like the Magic Marry in the front. The Shorty is more for for deep sand or wet (I read). I ride a DHR 2.4 WT in the back on a 30mm Santa Cruz rim. It works. Don't know how a 2.3 would feel.

How is Cush Core treating you? Is it slowing you down? Is it draining your strenght on the ups? Or does the bike roller even faster in the flat cuz you have more momentum?

Super porno! I like the Deity parts and the Onyx hubs. Why did you et Onyx hubs for a DH bike? I hope the Öhlins works. I just read a lot of people having problem with the other Öhlins shock from the Speci Enduro. Question for the audienc: Do we still need chain guards on DH bike if we don't need them on Enduros anymore thanks no narrow/wide chains and chainrings? I took mine off recently because it was bent. So far it works without.

I also owned the previous Capra and while it pedaled ok, it was never a pleasure on big climbs nor did it carry much speed in the flat (I felt). The Yeti SB 5.5 pedals better upbhill and carris more speed when the terrain does not only point downhill. It might mostly be attributed to the 29er wheels though. Don't get me wrong, I am a big fan of the Capra, but for the more mellow trails around the house that I have to pedal up myself I changed to the Yeti now. Thoughts?

Beautiful job! I'm glad you did opt for the black transfer dropper and not the kashima version. Later would be a distraction from all the Hope part and the orange. A bit foreign is the RF Turbine Stem now. ;-) Have fun!
