Do you possess the ability to read? There are countless studies vowing for the effectivity of the vaccine, some of which have been cited in this same thread. But here you come with your baseless claims with no data or anything to prove them, other than having listened to them from Joe Rogan, Alex Jones or some top secret dude on Facebook.

Am I just supposed to infer from their persona that they are lying? I’m going to take a person for their word unless they prove otherwise, thanks.

Reading this while taking a shit after a LONG day building pumptracks in florida. Why was it so long? Millennial anti-intellectual un vaccinated pseudo libertarian co-workers are all fuvking useless with Sars Cov19, all the un-boosted members of our team are all down for the count right now. As a former mid-20’s libertarian douche i am sympathetic, but BROSEPHS: science is real. Yes “big pharma” is stacking benjamins, but science is reall! As is my fatigue for taking up the slack for people who are science-skeptical.

Yes, it’s really unfortunate that this happened to him. He only gets brought up every single day in the pink site. Anecdotes about a mountain biker who had a decent following and as a result we all know his name don’t stand up to the mountains of evidence that you are significantly more at risk for severe long term symptoms from covid infection than you are from getting the vaccine.

I get that point, but the scientific literature is quite clear on the fact that a Covid infection is more likely to have a negative impact on performance than the vaccine. Especially when thinking about long-Covid. If I was a pro racer I would probably have tried to time as much of my vaccinations with the start of the off-season to minimise the effect on my training. However with the Booster requirements that seems a little tricky to get just right. Anyhow, wouldn't most pro racers and their teams already be vaccinated to be able to get around most travel...

I’d bet most riders are vaxxed. The American riders, probably being the exception. Gwin seems unlikely to be vaxxed. Not sure about Dak or Neko but I’d be inclined to think they’re also not. Be interesting to see who shows up in France.

I’d love to see your data because the actual studies say the exact opposite. There are very few potential serious reactions to the vaccines compared to the multitude of long term complications that can result from contracting the disease. Speaking specifically about heart issues there is a greater chance that you end up with myocarditis from covid infection than from the vaccine: https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg25133462-800-myocarditis-is-more… https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-021-01630-0

Let's be honest, it's their rules, their terms to enter their country. Even most of Europe, if you can't accept that don't race and don't complain. The vaccine gives you a opportunitiy

America, land of the free, where it is your right to burden the population as a whole with the consequence of your bonkers views on medical science. If I was a racer I'd be much more worried about the long term effects of getting a respiratory illness than the fact that someone's mum's cousin's friend had a reaction to the vaccine

Let's go Brandon is the dumbest work around I have ever heard. If you want to say something just say it, don't act like some grade 3 kid scared to swear in front of their grand parents. Also, saying you'd shoot some one with a 9mm on the internet over your opinion pretty much sums up that you probably shouldn't own a gun and have a problem.

For real. I recently lost a friend to it and so maybe it just hits hard to me. Perhaps while they are pulling sponsorships from Pierron regarding racism (in a albeit stupid move), they should look in the mirror about how they are selling their own products.

If you where really into saving the environment you’d just use water and brushes. Such a fake company, don’t like the vibe they put out at all.

Just a one off. It's one thing to design bikes as a hobby and another to actually make a business out of it. Frame's done by the way. Will be testing it out soon and make a bike check.

How much of an effect does wheel size and the way a bike with a given wheel size turns have to do with the geometry that a certain wheel size demands? We haven't seen an ultra long, low, slack enduro bike, designed to fit 20" wheels after all... I mean it's not like leaning of the bike (I'm guessing with countersteer you mean flipping the contact patches outward, 'counter' to the cornering direction as opposed to just leaning into the corner around the contact patch?) is done around the axles, it happens around the horizontal, length-wise line through the CoG...

Maybe it's just me, but I can't stand the sloppy feel of the kind of low pressures that people ride with tubeless tires. Perhaps there is a bit more grip, but at the expense of feel and precision. I once got a free set of Mavic DMaxes and would just run tubes inside of the tubeless system so that If I pinch flatted the tube, the tubeless system would hold the air and get me down the mountain. I tended to ride about 32# front and 34# rear. Never lower. Maybe I'm just a freak though.

Long wheelbase bikes need a taller BB for another reason - to gain ground clearance due to bigger stuff being able to fit between the F and R wheels. For example, if you go slow off of a rock roller or a rooty ledge, the edge of the rock/root can contact the crank/chainring before the rear wheel can come into play. The Grim Donut had this prob. I believe cornering depends more on F and R weight distro. People like to think that having more weight on the front is a good thing, but I disagree. There is a very...
