Vergier bent some in a crash. Most likely the change is because Rheeder is off Trek, and Trek isn't going to help Title out anymore.

https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/events/details/275998/National-Downhi… When you check out the full entry list, pretty much the whole World Cup roster is entered for it, will be well worth a watch. Also worth noting Jamie Edmonson is still entered under Rockshox Trek, so would take the "team" entered with a pinch of salt. It will also confirm Millie Johnset to Canyon Collective Factory.

Browsing the entries for Ft Bill British in May, Henry Kerr entered as Canyon Pirelli and Greg Williamson on Madison Saracen factory. Also hopefully Mr Hill isn't just there as a placeholder

This Pirelli / Trek racing thing seems to not make a whole lot of sense since Trek has Bontrager tires... Hoever, my theory as to how this has come about: -Think this move is more about money than quality of tires (what isn't). Pirelli may be throwing big money at the team (hundreds of thousands of dollars) to be their tire supplier. This will allow them to afford all the big rider contracts they're carrying right now as the bike recession looms. -Trek has (for a while now) been a distributor (at least in US) for Pirelli tires. Maybe they...

Which new Smuggler? Maybe go to the other site and track down @CarbonSmuggler420 to see what he knows? He's always sleuthing around. Unrelated to product launches, we'll be dropping some news soon about an exciting new adventure we're embarking on. A young poutine, a younger coffee bean, and three younger salmon's...

Lars from Transition Bikes here. Troydon (Crestline) lives about 3 minutes away from our headquarters. He's a super nice guy and joins a lot of group rides from Transition HQ. Stoked to see this, and stoked for Blenki to be partnered with someone so genuine and into bikes! Troydon is a ripper and rides a LOT. Super rad to see what he's doing, it's a massive undertaking to launch a bike company these days in such a competitive market. Also stoked to see Blenki around here, I'm sure he's bound to pay some visits.

Can we table the "pick a brake fluid and be a dick about it" discussion and get back to tech rumors please?

no it doesn't, actually. shimano dura-ace track gourp 7710 debuted in 1996 and has not had a single update since. there's no reason to replace it. just like saint works, best brakes in their line-up, ain't broke, don't fix it. sram is the reason things come out so fast now, they don't wait until a product is fully ready, they just release it, and update every 2 years. shimano just doesn't do that, they are a bit because of the competition, but i guaranty shimano would still have us on 11 speed and front derailleurs is sram didn't shake things...

Saint holds the record for a product series, although I'll add there are certain individual products that have been in the Shimano catalog forever, like the PD-M520 non-series pedals (2003?) and PD-M647 DX pedals (2006?) and the Dura Ace downtube shifters (Civil War?).

saint M820 was launched in 2012. so closing in on 11 years. fun fact: it is now the longest running shimano groupset (including road). next longest is Ultegra 6500, launched '97 updated '05 (~8 years)

They better be. Should be standard on literally every single bike in existence. So far only Canyon managed to get it right.

santa cruz syndicate with new v10? vid description says "This is the eighth generation of V10, one of the most winningest downhill bikes of all time. What you see here is still very much in the prototype stages. This video series goes behind the scenes and shows the work that the team at Santa Cruz and the Syndicate put into this and other bikes. Episode one takes us back to just a few weeks after Greg Minnaar won the 2021 World Championship and went to work validating numerous test mules to decide the direction of the next bike. You might...
