The only 32" Dissector model that Maxxis offers to the public right now is an Exo+ Maxxterra tire. It's the same tire Matt Beer was riding at Cypress when he did the back to back 32"/29" test for the other site. If that's the tire Neko's riding at Rock Creek, I'm actually more impressed with his ability to nurse an EXO+ casing through Mountain Creek than I'm worried about slightly "the wrong" tread or compound. Re: new saint. 12spd long cage saint would be super rad, especially if xt&xtr mechanical moves to dual spring instead of a clutch. But I need to get assurance if I’m retarded or not; it’s been mentioned now that this theoretical 12spd saint would retain a clutch for those who are “not concerned about efficiency.” What in the hell does a clutch have to do with drivetrain efficiency? Besides slightly affecting suspension feel, more so if your bike has a lot of chain growth, how would a clutch vs dual spring have any effect on the what the bike feels...

Wouldnt that weigh an obscene amount and make the wheel weird on any speeds? My moneys on lightweight stem protection I mean, it just looks like it's a cushcore or similar foamy stuff just wedged between the spokes to protect the valve stem:

I’m not sure where I heard it but apparently Gwin and Bruni were not even doing that jump in practice. Not sure if that’s true but it would be a case of “can’t beat experience”. Enough years on the WC circuit to know that the jump would either have to change or be removed from the track so they never risked anything on it. Shame it wasn’t closed sooner, especially knowing it was placed near one of the most windy sections.

Well he is the champ for his country and has an actual physical disability verses just a guy pulling a bit of a “look at me”. Again I’m not even mad the hardtail guy is there. I just think he should’ve borrowed a buddy’s bike and gave it an actual go.

Women's Juniors finals is underway. Aletha Ostgaard is setting a very quick time early. Looks like she's more than 12 seconds faster than Rosa Zierl's top qualifying time. Congrats to Aletha. That's her 3rd straight WC win and 6th straight win since the Fox US Open last fall.

couple of observations For a track with so much line choice possibility, it's kind of funny how one line has burned in and not many are deviating from it. The hardtail guy is exactly the opposite of what the UCI/WBD/Bruni wanted isn't it? The hard tail just magnifies the situation. Asa, Tyler and the Alran’s shouldn’t have been seeded that far back. When Jackson and Jordan came out of Juniors they were placed just behind the top elites, not sure what’s changed in the rule books.
