Best upgrade I’ve experienced!! DSD Runt turned a fork i liked into a fork I loved!!! Highly recommend for anyone looking to bring your fork alive. I’ve tested for sram and fox and this is truly an amazing product built by a passionate human that understands the shortcomings of the current designs available.

Actually, it has been out much longer than that. I believe we started working on the RUNT in 2012. The first RUNT was designed for the original Lyrik. We have had a lot of set backs and a lot to learn along the way that have delayed it. We have been selling them locally for a few years but we were not ready as a business to do a national release till now.

I've got the RUNT plugged in to my 2019 Fox 36 with the Grip 2 damper. I opted to just plug it in and not tune the damper at all in an effort to change one variable at a time. At the time, I was also considering throwing the Push ACS3 coil kit into the fork in order to better match the supple feel of my PUSH 11.6 rear shock. There are a variety of similar products on the market. The DSD kit differs in that it includes valving updates as well. To my knowledge, the RUNT has been patent-pending since at least 2015.

Whoever commented about the reds clashing I have to agree. This is WC racing. Trek does custom paint on a lot of their consumer bikes anyway. Match the damn reds! EDIT; 5'9" on an XL!? wow.

I've been discussing the theory of this product with some my customers who are interested in potentially buying one. I think the real challenge is putting it on the right frame. Because the headangle doesn't change as much through the stroke, you don't need a slack front end. If anything, a longer stem and steeper HA seems like it would provide better action. It seems like it was tailor made for bikes like Evil Following, Pivot 429 Trail, Tallboy, etc. I know they want to sell to as many customers as possible, but Trust saying that it will cover travel...
