I wasn't trying to poke at your decisions at all. I am genuinely amazed at non 3C compound (Maxxterra or maxxgrip ) goes on a bike this calibre. In BC, you'd wreck immediately on any technical trail.

It must be nice to live at a place where poor tire choice doesn't matter. Rest of the build is excellent however...

of course a 2.5 DD HR2 with less pressure is slower, it's nearly 200 grams heavier, and a less supple casing. I grew up riding new england, have lived in every corner of the country and i'm a 20 year veteran mechanic and former DH and Enduro racer. If you're going to write a review, be more objective and compare apples to apples, compare a 2.4 Dissector to s 2.4 HR2 or DHR2 both in the same casing and pressure, or all you opinions are invalid. This review is rubbish without consistent data and nothing more that a forum opinion...

Having more than happily ran a super deluxe ultimate w 450lb spring on my slash 8. This must feel amazing.. I weigh 165 and got 25% sag.. 400 with a progressive spring would have been perfect..

This just killed my reason to swap my dead GX eagle cassette with another one. Heck, im thinking a 28t or 30t upfront instead of 32T(steel) i have now and the 9-46 would save me a pound of weight and gain ground clearance..
