Its because the sport is doing its best to ignore it or sweep under the rug - so any (i guess i have to say alleged) victims probably dont feel like they will be listened to or taken seriously - which only allows predators to think they can keep getting away with it. No one wants to rock the boat, but its really on the rest of the sport -ie the governing bodies and other athletes with a platform to stand up and make some noise about it

There is someone in Germany getting custom bleed fittings fabricated. They replace the bleeding edge fitting during bleed for a truly air-tight seal to get a good vacuum bleed, and then bleeding edge is reinstalled at the end. I have his fitting for the DOT bleeding edge calipers, not sure if he is fabricating ones to fit the new size bleeding edge mineral oil port. He also made a Shimano version to replace the bleed nipple on the calipers for a better seal.

I think Dylan is a Top 50 rider (according to whichever batch of points UCI/WBD looks at) so he's in automatically...if I'm understanding their rules, etc. correctly.

Trek and QBP just had layoffs (again) today. This is the third time at Trek in the last 18 months and I believe at least the second time at QBP since COVID. I just exited the bike industry myself (started a new job this week!), it’s definitely rough out there!

This child vs adult terminal velocity question requires some real-world testing to confirm.

Preload -> push down with feet to move body upwards creating momentum at a velocity high enough to overcome gravity -> hold on to handlebars = bunnyhop. Then level the bike out. Bunnyhop completed. Bonus: roll wrists forward to level the bike and you'll be able to stay more centered over the bike rather than end up in the backseat...
Don't be silly. Clips are absolutely not necessary to bunny hop.

I know it's not the World Cup, but as people were arguing against aero all I could think about was The Speed Traps at both Hardlines and those big +90ft jumps. I think the fastest speeds were above 60km/h. That's damn fast on a bike and aero clothes are going to make a difference for sure. Hell, I'm NOT fast...
