1/26/2022 6:40am We are one is creating a new Enduro team, they just signed Emmet from PB academy... Maybe the other spot may be filled with Keegan Wright, he spent a lot of time in bc, maybe he got in contact with them... Another option could be Florian Nicolai? Miranda Miller?

1/24/2022 4:04pm Other than at least 10 pepole being involved (per cathro's story a few days ago) not much. But I'd be willing to bet that sana cruz and fox suspension are sponsors.

1/24/2022 3:04pm It's not just relatability, it's partly that certain personality traits are a benefit for a public figure. People love loud an bombastic people like Tippie, but he's said himself that he was a pretty terrible person when he was taking drugs, and he was using during most of the height of his fame. Gwin just isn't a super personable guy during interviews and such. there's nothing wrong with that, but it's a disadvantage as a public figure. Gee gets kinda tarred with the same brush. Edit: what i should have made more clear, is that Gwin sometimes comes off as...

1/24/2022 2:42pm Let's be honest, it's their rules, their terms to enter their country. Even most of Europe, if you can't accept that don't race and don't complain. The vaccine gives you a opportunitiy

1/24/2022 2:41pm America, land of the free, where it is your right to burden the population as a whole with the consequence of your bonkers views on medical science. If I was a racer I'd be much more worried about the long term effects of getting a respiratory illness than the fact that someone's mum's cousin's friend had a reaction to the vaccine

1/24/2022 2:40pm Let's go Brandon is the dumbest work around I have ever heard. If you want to say something just say it, don't act like some grade 3 kid scared to swear in front of their grand parents. Also, saying you'd shoot some one with a 9mm on the internet over your opinion pretty much sums up that you probably shouldn't own a gun and have a problem.

1/24/2022 2:38pm Personally, I think it’s great. I wish the U.S. would lay down some authority too. There might be a few riders who opt not to get vaccinated, but I don’t think it will be any of the top contenders. Bring on the racing!

1/24/2022 11:15am i remember seeing when the site went down and laughing to myself about how long they thought they'd be down to change ERP systems and thinking their timeline was awfully optimistic.

1/24/2022 6:52am Isn't Blenki a dad since pretty recently? Maybe his priorities changed. Although this usually comes with an announcement. I'm somehow sure we will hear from him soon. Or the UCI official teams list... @dolface - you are very right, but I wasn't trying to throw shade at any tire brand. Maxxis are the bar since a long time, since they offered tires that were good, affordable and came in an array of options. Hard to mess with that! Of course I would like it that more brands were at the same level of performance and somehow I suspect they are...

1/23/2022 3:42pm Regarding your last para; that's probably true but we old, the new generation don't know and don't care. Maxxis (like Stealth rubber) are the current high bar. That means everyone else has to be better and PROVE it. Michelin and Schwalbe are making progress there, the others not so much yet, but you don't make a push into a new...

1/23/2022 3:22pm This literally was never the case. People have always disagreed with one another and being negative usually incites a negative reaction. If you surround yourself with assholes then you may get away with that type of behavior or if you are really funny people might hang out with you. But there has never been some insane social agreement where you get to say whatever you want without a response to it.

1/23/2022 12:13pm Trickstuff has pushed their re-opening back to March 1st. It was originally Jan 18, then Jan 23. The modal on their site says it's so they can migrate to a new ERP (enterprise resource planning) system and I am not surprised by the date changes; migrations like that are brutally complex (I've led a few) and I was surprised they...

1/23/2022 12:01pm Well at the end of the day, the riders have the sponsors that they have either because of the results (Gwin had a ton of those), but more and more so because of the following they have among the public. Social media mostly (sadly), but public nontheless. As long as the results are there, the marketing departments can sell products through those, but once the results are not coming as often as they did, the other part becomes really important. The point I'm trying to make? It's hard to have a following if, for whatever reason, the rider, driver, sportsman...
