The whole thing is ridiculous. It's such a non story that has been made into a massive thing. I can't believe how badly this was handled by everyone involved (the PB interview doesn't help either). Part the reason for going racing is about product development. Having someone like Gwin testing products to destruction so that us mortals can benefit from better products. Hell, he rides harder and faster than anyone on Earth, I'm surprised he doesn't break more stuff. Things break. Everybody knows this. No need to make a song and dance about it.

That whole interview really is something else. I don´t know what to say to that. This is getting blown way out of proportion by them.

Exactly, I’d be willing to bet most of us watched the clip to make sure Aaron’s foot was still attached, not to hate on e13.

It's almost like he's what 19 years old.

Reaction like a little sulky kid

i think any serious WC racer could have attended this race if they chose to. we're hearing that the WC course will have some different sections than this iXS course. not sure how stats line up historically, but often we see riders at a venue well before a race and it's never a slam dunk that they win or perform well. it almost seems like it can backfire to some degree.

Dude!! Heck yeah! Talk about shredding, that guy rips. Makes me want to go ride my Kenevo.

I like it. I still don't quite understand the hate for e-bikes. I mean, I understand the argument against them and I'm willing to concede that they are technically "motorized cycles," but to compare any e-bike to a true motorcycle is a big stretch, at least in terms of power and destruction.

The AMA is the appropriate governing body and GNCC is the perfect series for e-MTB events. Makes more sense than the UCI in my opinion.

Looks like a LOT of fun.
